Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions from organizers and attendees using Noqtara.

General

What is Noqtara?

Noqtara is an event ticketing platform that brings event setup, ticket sales, attendee access, and QR-based check-in into one place, so organizers can run an event without stitching together separate tools.

Who is Noqtara for?

Noqtara is built for organizers and teams running ticketed events, as well as the attendees who buy and use tickets to those events. A single account can hold both an organizer role and an attendee role at the same time.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. You can publish up to 2 events for free, each with up to 50 tickets, no credit card required. You'll need a subscription once you're ready to publish more events or sell more tickets on one.

Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Sign in with your Google or Apple account. Noqtara does not use separate passwords, so there is no extra signup form — your first sign-in creates your account automatically.

How do I create my first event?

Sign in as an organizer and select Create Event from your dashboard. Fill in the event details, add at least one ticket type, and choose a payment method. Your event is saved as a draft as you go, and you can publish it once it is ready.

Pricing & Subscription

What subscription plans are available?

Plans are priced by the number of tickets you expect to sell each month: up to 100 tickets, up to 300 tickets, up to 1,000 tickets, or a custom plan for higher volumes. Every plan includes every Noqtara feature — only the monthly ticket limit changes.

What happens if I sell more tickets than my plan allows?

You can upgrade to a higher tier at any time from your Subscription page. If you consistently need more than 1,000 tickets a month, reach out through Contact Support to discuss a custom plan.

Can I change my subscription plan later?

Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the Subscription page in your organizer account.

Events

How do I publish an event?

While you are editing an event, only basic structural checks apply so you can save an incomplete draft. Publishing enforces the full set of requirements — a venue for physical events, at least one ticket type, and a selected payment method — and the missing-fields checklist tells you exactly what is left before the Publish button becomes available.

Can I edit an event after publishing?

Yes. You can update a published event at any time from its Event Dashboard and Event Editor.

Can I run both in-person and online events?

Yes. Each event is set up as either a physical event with a venue, or an online event, and Noqtara supports both.

Tickets

How do I create different ticket types?

Use the Ticket Types editor on your event to add as many ticket types as you need, each with its own name, price, and available quantity.

How does ticket validation work at the door?

Every ticket has a unique QR code. At check-in, staff scan the code with the built-in scanner to validate entry in seconds; a code can only be used once, so already-scanned tickets are flagged automatically.

Payments

How do I get paid for my ticket sales?

Connect your own Stripe account from your organizer page. Every online payment goes directly to your connected Stripe account — Noqtara never holds your money.

What payment methods can attendees use?

Depending on how the organizer configures the event, attendees can pay online by card through Stripe, or the event can accept cash or invitation-based orders handled directly by the organizer.

Stripe

How do I connect my Stripe account?

Open the Payment Provider card on your organizer page and follow the connection flow to link your Stripe account. Once connected, you can accept online payments for your events.

What if I don't have a Stripe account yet?

You can create a Stripe account as part of the connection flow. Until you connect one, you can still run events using cash or invitation-based payment methods.

Organizers

Can I invite staff to help with check-in?

Yes. You can invite check-in staff to a specific event so they can scan and validate tickets at the door without needing full organizer access to your account.

Can one account be both an organizer and an attendee?

Yes. Organizer and attendee are roles on the same account rather than separate account types, so a single sign-in can hold both roles at once.

Attendees

Where do I find my tickets after purchase?

Sign in with the email address used at checkout and open My Tickets to see every ticket purchased under your account, grouped into upcoming, current, and archived events.

How do I use my ticket at the event?

Show the QR code from your ticket page or confirmation email at the door. Event staff scan it to check you in — no printing required, though you can also download a PDF copy if you prefer.

Account

How do I update my profile information?

Update your name, phone number, and avatar from the Personal Information card on your account page. This is shared across the Organizer and Attendee views, since it applies to any account.

How do I deactivate or delete my account?

Deactivating your account gives you 180 days to change your mind before it is permanently deleted. If you would rather not wait, you can permanently delete your account immediately instead — this cannot be undone.

What happens to my data after I delete my account?

Once the retention period ends, your account and associated personal data are permanently erased, unless a legitimate operational or legal reason temporarily blocks deletion, such as an active event, unresolved ticket issue, or open dispute.

Security & Privacy

How does Noqtara protect my account?

You sign in through Google or Apple rather than a Noqtara-managed password, which removes an entire class of password-related risk. You can also review and sign out of your active sessions individually from your account page at any time.

What personal data does Noqtara collect?

Noqtara collects only what it needs to operate accounts, process ticket purchases, and secure sessions — details such as your account details, event and order data, and session metadata. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.

Technical Issues

My QR code won't scan at check-in, what do I do?

Increase your screen brightness and make sure the full code is visible and unobstructed. If scanning still fails, check-in staff can enter the ticket's ID manually as a fallback.

I didn't receive my ticket confirmation email, what should I do?

Check your spam or promotions folder first. Your tickets are also always available by signing in to My Tickets with the email address used at checkout. If they still don't appear, contact support.

Support

How do I contact support?

Use the Contact Support button below, or reach out through the Contact page, for product questions, support, or partnership discussions.

What are Noqtara's support hours?

We aim to respond to product and support inquiries as quickly as possible during normal business hours.
